At Red House Wellness, we focus on the Four Pillars of well-being

Health: the state of being free from illness or injury and refers to one’s physical or mental wellness

Wellness: the actions taken towards living a healthy lifestyle, no matter your current state of health

If you want to be healthy, you need to start taking actions towards your own wellness.

Why not thrive, instead of just survive?

Wellness Tips to Help You Center Yourself and Avoid Overwhelm During the Holidays

1. Check in With Yourself Throughout the Day and Listen to Your Body
How am I feeling right now? What do I need right now? A glass of water, something to eat, a few minutes of quiet, a walk to reconnect with nature, etc.
2. Use Affirmations

“I am doing the best I can.”

“I chose to bring joy with me, wherever I go today.” Find an affirmation that works for you and repeat it to yourself throughout the day.

3. Meditate
Sit quietly for a few minutes each morning before you start your day, connect with your breath and set an intention for the day.

How do you want to feel today? How do you want others to feel in your presence today?

4. Deep Breathing
Take a minute to take 5 deep breaths to refocus your energy when you are feeling stressed. When you are calm and present, you will radiate calm and presence to those around you.
